As a person making an income online, I can tell you tha the rich get richer online because they build systms overtime that help automate their income on autopilot.

The rich get richer online, becuause the utilize the tools that are free, and build the system that works for them and thus making them highly leveraged when it comes to earning money online.

As you can see it does take time and effort to build your wealth online, and get richer and richer online. But, when you build it around stuff or content that you really are passionate about and love, you are way ahead of the game as far as leveraging yourself to making more money online.
