Today I finally have part 3 of how to make money online in practical tips.

This is part 3 of the 3 Part Series of making money online: Baker's Practical Tips on making money online.
Today we will talk about registering a domain name for your blog.

Now I hope you started getting on this journey with me and really walking with me through the previous process, to start making some money online. Now I want to talk to you about creating your domain name


Domain Name

You can get domains for cheap at a site called http://www.namecheap.com/ This is a good place to start with naming your domain.

What Should My Domain Name Be? 

I believe the name should be SEO friendly. But, don't carried away with the SEO Part too much as well. It should be a name that fully represents your personal brand.

If you remember in part 2  of how to make money online, I share with you the importance of building a blog around your passion. When you build your blog around something you already love, it is a lot easier to make money online with your blog down the road, because your passion, expertise, and knowledge you are sharing through your posts are being seen.

You can easily tell when someone writes about a topic that they aren't passionate about because these are the people that start with great ideas on a blog for a good six months, and are blogging consistently and all of a sudden drop their blog completely and they no longer write for it or maintain it. Ever wonder why blogs don't make a single dollar online?

Passion Fuels Success 

It's because they lack the passion. They don't understand personal branding. Know what you  and who YOU are and what you want to represent... through your consistent blog posting. If you don't know what it is yet, just experiment. Continue to work out different things online that will help you develop your brand message and core foundation. The people that make the long term income online are consistent, dedicated, and clearly focused on their blogs topic.

But, it isn't all serious and no fun and games. Along with the income I make online from my blog. Blogging for me has been such a great creative release and outlet for me to express my thoughts. Now, keeping the creativity intact and the business around a blog there is fine-line. I will post a blog article on that next time. But fro now, know that the blog will make you money, and can require long hours of work, but also a lot of fun.

If you want a free way, why not start with a blogspot.com first and then move up to a wordpress as I  highly suggest if you are serious about making money online in Part One of How To make money online.

This may be the longer route to financial freedom and making a great full time living income online, but it will make you a great deal of money online in the long-term in passive income.

So back to the domain name You can use your own first and last name (if it is still available as a domain) which is really good for personal branding. Or you can come up with a name that is specific to the niche you want to build.
